It’s that time of year again! The Unforgettable Gala is just around the corner, so prepare for the biggest night in API Hollywood. This year’s event, marked for Dec. 14, is expected to have the usual night of glitz, glam and stellar performances during the festivities. GoldenTV and Character Media just announced the first batch of artists are expected to headline the event, which includes the K-pop solo artist Wonho, the iconic 80s band THE JETs and the 90s boy band 98 DEGREES.
These musicians aren’t the only ones expected to grace the UNFO stage — in fact, attendees can expect a whole array of artists to perform. This year’s theme is “Unforgettable Together,” meaning the gala will bring API artists and entertainment legends together for never-before-seen performances. The ceremony is set to feature a journey through AAPI music throughout the decades, with different current and veteran API artists coming together for this one-of-a-kind stage.
“This year’s Unforgettable Gala is more than a celebration of our biggest names today; it’s a recognition of the longtime allies and icons who have given so much to our community,” said Takashi Cheng, founder and CEO of GoldenTV. “In true Unforgettable fashion, we have even more surprises and exciting moments to share.”
