Singaporean actor and online personality Xenia Tan recently went viral for breaking an almost three-decades-old piggy bank from her father and finding around 7,000 Singaporean dollars (approximately $5,347).
On Sunday, Tan posted a now-viral video that shows her smashing the piggy bank with a hammer in front of her family members during a Lunar New Year celebration.
“Smashing my piggy bank of more than 28 years to see how much is inside,” her TikTok video’s onscreen text says at the beginning.
“My father saved this for me before I was even born,” she shared in the middle of the clip.

Several TikTok users quickly commented on the wholesome video, which has already garnered over 8.2 million views and 643,000 likes.
“7k?! wah I should start doing this for my kids heheh,” one user wrote.
“I love this idea so much i will do it when i have kids,” another user said.
“Dad definitely very special man to have been this dedicated to your Future,” another user commented.
