No matter who you are, or where you come from, there seems to be a savagery that builds within when driving’s involved.
No one knows better than the two main characters of A24’s “Beef,” down-on-his-luck contractor Danny Cho (Steven Yeun) and seemingly picture-perfect entrepreneur Amy Lau (Ali Wong). After a raged-fueled car mishap, Danny and Amy find themselves slowly consumed by hatred and increasingly, their lives are intertwined in some sort of Shakespearean grudge, as their sole purpose is to enact revenge on one another — no matter how long it takes. And seeing how demented the trailer that was just released today, March 15, there are no limits for both of these characters will go during the 10-episode run. The series itself will release next month on April 6, was created by Lee Sung Jin and features Yeun and Wong alongside, Joseph Lee (George), Young Mazino (Paul), David Choe (Isaac), and Patti Yasutake (Fumi).
