The official Twitter account of “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” has unveiled brand new posters that feature Nintendo’s iconic video game characters in all their glory.

In one of the posters, Mario is shown jumping with his fist raised high, just as he has since the original games of the 1980s.

The poster’s colorful and extremely detailed background features familiar assets from the games, such as the floating platforms, pipes, a Bullet Bill and piranha plants, which are notably robotic instead of the typical Petey Piranha design.

As previously released posters showcased the entire cast of the animated film, the new poster provides a much-awaited focus on the beloved character.

The film also stars Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad and Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong.

Fans of the original games can also look forward to a cameo by Charles Martinet, who has voiced Mario in the video games for over 30 years.
