Welcome the newest addition to the GoldenTV ecosystem: “The Takeaway”! The entertainment news program premieres on ChimeTV on Sept. 20 at 8 PM PST/11 PM EST, and will air every Friday, rerunning the following Saturday morning.
Hosted by charismatic and quippy Michelle Park, “The Takeaway” will follow the latest and trending stories, with a focus on API entertainment and stars.
In an exclusive interview with Deadline, Park underlines the importance of focusing on API narratives in Hollywood: “I am honored to now be a role model to future generations and to be able to be someone who helps highlight and bridge the success of the entertainment industry in the API community.”
Park is best known for her starring roles in the hit YouTube series “Alan’s Universe,” as well as the vertical series “Final Call for Love.”
“I hope that this show can share all the amazing things we’re doing within the API entertainment industry and showcase more of who we are and what we’re about, to both the API and non-API communities,” Park told Deadline.
