On Monday, Netflix released a teaser trailer for their upcoming stop-motion animated series titled “Pokémon Concierge,” created in collaboration with The Pokémon Company.
Not much is known about the series except that it follows a concierge at the Pokémon Resort named Haru as she interacts with both Pokémon and their trainers who stay as guests.
Developed by Dwarf Studios, the stop-motion project was unveiled on Monday during Pokémon Day alongside a slew of other announcements, including new DLCs for the “Pokémon: Scarlet and Violet” main series games, the long-awaited Pokémon sleep mobile game and more.
“Netflix is looking forward to delighting fans in Japan and around the world with ‘Pokémon Concierge,’ an entirely new visual and storytelling experience featuring ground-breaking stop-motion animation set in the Pokémon world in close collaboration with The Pokémon Company,” Minyoung Kim, vice president of Netflix Content in Asia, said in a statement.
“Pokémon Concierge” is not Netflix‘s first foray into the world of Pokémon. The streaming service already has a number of Pokémon movies and shows in its content library, including the classic “Indigo League” and current anime “Journeys: The Series.”
