We Bridge Music Festival and Expo has announced boy group Monsta X and Korean American rapper Jessi as part of its inaugural lineup.
The Las Vegas festival will see both Jessi and Monsta X as Day 1 performers, with the latter headlining on April 21. They will both participate in the hi-touch event at the expo that day.
Monsta X and Jessi join previously announced talents who will participate in the inaugural festival, such as ENHYPEN, ONEUS, Kang Daniel, fromis_9 and Dreamcatcher, among others.
For Monsta X, We Bridge will be their next U.S. performance following their “No Limit” world tour in June 2022.
It will also give the Starship Entertainment act a chance to make up for some music festival-related missed opportunities. They were slated to headline both Nickelodeon’s NickFest — which was canceled over “market conditions” — and KAMP LA 2022, which was rife with visa issues.
“We are really excited to be part of We Bridge Music Festival and Expo and bring our show to Las Vegas for all the fans!” said Monsta X in a press release. “We will be there on April 21 and can’t wait for you all there.”
Meanwhile, “Nunu Nana” sensation Jessi most recently wrapped up a tour in Europe back in October 2022.
“I’m so excited to join We Bridge Music Festival and Expo this Spring in Las Vegas,” she said. “Catch me at the Expo meeting fans and performing on April 21 at the festival. Hope to see you all there!”
Meta Prosper has also been announced as a sponsor for the event.
“We are so pleased to team up with We Bridge Music Festival and Expo as a sponsor,’ said Eric Toda, founder of Meta Prosper and the global head of social marketing at Meta, in a press release. “It was important to us to get involved with this diverse showcase of Asian-American and Asian communities coming together to celebrate their collective cultures in one of the most exciting entertainment capitals in the world, Las Vegas.”
