Everybody’s a suspect in the new murder mystery series “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder,” coming to Netflix on August 1.

Five years after a popular high school senior, Andie Bell (India Lillie Davies), was murdered by her boyfriend, Sal Singh (Rahul Pattni), who then killed himself, now-high school senior Pip Fitz-Amob (Emma Myers) is reluctant to believe the case is really closed. Pip takes the investigation into her own hands and is determined to find the truth behind the tragedy that shook the town of Little Killton. If Pip’s on the right track and Sal didn’t do it, that means the murderer is still out there, and she now finds herself also in danger. The six-episode season, based on the highly successful young adult mystery novel of the same name by Holly Jackson, was adapted by Poppy Cogan and directed by Dolly Wells. The cast also includes Zain Iqbal, Anna Maxwell Martin, Gary Beadle, Mathew Baynton, Raiko Gohara and Yasmin Al-Khudhairi.

“A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder” was commissioned by BBC and produced by Moonage Pictures. The series was co-produced by ZDFneo and Netflix and will first air on July 1 in the UK and Ireland on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer before it’s released on Netflix later this summer.
