Get ready to hit the road with this wacky comedy on June 23.

Buckle up and turn up the tunes because this summer, Adele Lim is taking movie go-ers on a “Joy Ride.”  And by the first image released to the public, we’re in store for a bumpy road.

The film, which was directed by Lim, along with a screenplay by Cherry Chevapravatdumrong and Teresa Hsiao, follows a group of friends as they go on a humorous journey filled with laughter and self-discovery. The unlikely quartet forms once Audrey’s (Ashley Park) business trip to Asia goes haywire and she must employ the aid of her hot mess of childhood bestie Lolo (Sherry Cola), her college friend turned Chinese soap-opera actress, Kat (Stephanie Hsu) and finally Lolo’s oddball cousin, Deadeye (Sabrina Wu) to ensure the rest of the trip goes…somewhat smoothly.  “Joy Ride”  will also feature Ronny Chieng (“Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings”), Desmond Chiam (“Partner Track”), Alexander Hodge (“Insecure”), and Chris Pang (“As We See It”).

So, if you’re dying to tag along on this bumpy road, keep an eye out for the upcoming trailer and keep your calendar clear for June 23.
