Gear up, Los Angeles – it’s time to head back to the sky. 88rising’s highly anticipated Head in the Clouds Music and Arts Festival is returning to the Rose Bowl August 5 through 6, with a fresh new lineup that spans the Asian diaspora.
This morning, the AAPI-focused record label released its initial 35-artist setlist via social media, sparking immediate buzz. The fifth annual festival will see the return of 88rising megastars NIKI and Rich Brian – both of whom have been festival staples since its 2019 inception. Other headliners include DPR IAN and DPR Live, Jackson Wang, Rina Sawayama, XG, Yoasobi and special guest Zedd.
The festival will also christen some new faces; fans were particularly thrilled to see sibling DJ duo Beauz and Korean American producer TOKiMONSTA among the performers, as well as Filipino TikTok star Lyn Lapid. And according to the label, there are still more surprises to come.
Fans can register for the HITC LA presale through the 88rising website before May 25. So, blast some beats, break out your festival wear and get ready to float back up to the stratosphere.
