It’s Beyoncé’s world, and we’re all just living in it.

At least that seemed to be the prevailing mood outside the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles ahead of the 2023 Grammy Awards on Sunday. Indeed, music’s biggest night seemed poised to double as a coronation ceremony for pop music’s reigning queen, already the most-decorated female artist in the history of the award show and once again leading the pack with nine nominations for her dance-infused album “Renaissance.”

As history has shown, however, anything can happen at the Grammys, which are being hosted by comedian Trevor Noah for the third straight year. Once again, Adele is competing with Beyoncé for many of the premier prizes, as are Bad Bunny, Kendrick Lamar, Lizzo and Harry Styles.

Viewers can anticipate some megawatt performances, too, with Mary J. Blige, Steve Lacy, Lizzo, Kim Petras, Sam Smith, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson and Chris Stapleton among those slated to take the stage.

In addition, Kacey Musgraves, Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt and Migos’ Quavo will play songs popularized by Loretta Lynn, Christine McVie and Takeoff during the evening’s in memoriam segment, which will acknowledge musicians and other music industry leaders who died in the past year.

Check out the full list of nominees and winners below.
