International star Priyanka Chopra’s brief but meaningful interaction with a fan at a recent Jonas Brothers concert is touching hearts on social media.
Twitter user Lisa Dawn shared in a thread how the former Miss World and Bollywood star went out of her way to make her and her mother, a Jonas Brothers fan who has been battling cancer for years, feel comfortable during the concert.

According to Dawn, she and her mother were experiencing difficulty getting a good view of the stage in the crowded audience before Chopra noticed them and invited them to go up to the VIP section.
I’m not entirely sure what sparked this all. But as many of you know, my mom has been battling cancer for 3 years and currently has a freshly shaved head. And while she rocks the bald head, it’s clear that it’s from chemo. So I’m sure Priyanka picked up on that and noticed that we had to stand a lot to see over the people in front of us, and mom had to keep sitting because she can’t stand for long periods of time (I know Priyanka’s dad passed from cancer, so I’m sure she relates).
In her memoir, “Unfinished,” Chopra shared that she fell into a depression soon after her father, Dr. Ashok Chopra, died of cancer at age 62 in 2013.
