It’s up to Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans to save Christmas in “Red One,” the new holiday action film coming to theaters on November 15.
The fate of Christmas rests in their hands in this action-packed mission when Callum Drift (Johnson), the North Pole’s Head of Security must team up with Jack O’Malley (Evans), the world’s most infamous bounty hunter, to rescue Santa Claus (J.K. Simmons) — codename: Red One — after he is kidnapped. After Jack is recruited by the North Pole, he and Callum face diabolical creatures, from the ruthless Krampus to ferocious snowmen, in their expedition to bring Santa home. The ensemble cast includes Lucy Liu, Kiernan Shipka, Bonnie Hunt, Kristofer Hivju, Nick Kroll and Wesley Kimmel.
“Red One” is an Amazon MGM Studios film directed by Jake Kasdan, the director of the “Jumanji” reboot franchise. The film is written by Chris Morgan and based on a story by Hiram Garcia. Producers include Johnson, Hiram Garcia, Chris Morgan, Dany Garcia, Jake Kasdan and Melvin Mar.
