Jenn’s selection is historic in Bachelor Nation, as she is the first Asian-American lead in the franchise’s history.

Jenn Tran is a 26-year-old physician assistant student living in Miami. According to Bachelor Wiki, she originally hails from Hillsdale, New Jersey.
“Jenn is bubbly and compassionate, and has dedicated her life to helping others. She is currently studying to become a physician assistant, and while she is passionate about working in health care, she is also ready to prioritize finding love,” ABC’s biography writes.
Tran is also the first-ever Asian star of a Bachelor Nation franchise, discussing her Vietnamese background in several episodes of the series. In the history of “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette,” ABC has never had an Asian lead looking for love − until Tran.

After parking the kart, she told Graziadei, “When I found out you were the bachelor, I had to race over here so quick from Miami. I want to let you know that every day with me will be an adventure, and we’ll always have a good time.”
