Arkansas group promotes Asian American businesses
And joining us now on 40 29 on the record is Doctor Young Branch, the president of the *** Arkansas Association of Asian Businesses. Thank you so much, Doctor for joining us today. Can you tell us *** little bit about the Asian American community that your organization deals with in Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley? Yeah. Yeah. Thank you for having me um for this interview. So, uh the Arkansas Association of Asian Businesses actually is *** statewide organization and uh we, you know, our mission is to uh connect Arkansas and Asia in business. So I am personally, uh you know, live and work in Northwest Arkansas and I think it’s *** wonderful community to be in and the, you know, global talent and, you know, cultural mix is so wonderful in the area. Um So in terms of, you know, the, uh you know, American uh Asian American community here, um I think, um you know, with the big firms, big companies we are all aware about, you know, uh *** lot of, you know, talent, get this platform to advance in the big corporations. And uh also, you know, with uh the global talent attraction. *** lot of the mom and pop business owners, uh Asian business owners get to be very creative and do what they really are passionate about um in the community because we’re just, you know, providing that much opportunity uh in the community here. So I’m very, you know, uh passionate um in terms of personally and with the organization and to champion the Asian, you know, professionals, business owners, you know, career growth and you know, business thriving here.
