Aespa performed a bevy of unreleased songs and solo numbers as part of a 25-track set list at their “SYNK: Hyper Line” concerts over the weekend.

On Feb. 25 and 26, the SM Entertainment quartet held their first-ever standalone concerts at the Jamsil Arena in Seoul. At the concerts, Aespa debuted 11 unreleased songs, including solos for each of the members, Karina, Winter, Ningning and Giselle.

One unreleased song, “Salty & Sweet,” received a dance practice preview video on Aespa’s YouTube channel. Other never-before-heard songs included “Thirsty,” “YOLO” “Don’t Blame,” “Hot Air Balloon” “I’m Unhappy” and “Till We Meet Again.”

Of the new solos performed during the concerts, Karina had the solo “Menagerie,” Ningning performed “Wake Up,” Giselle had “2HOT4U” and Winter had the ballad “Lips.”

The 11 unreleased tracks are believed to be a part of Aespa’s forthcoming first full album, which was allegedly delayed due to disagreements between SM Entertainment CEO Chris Lee and input from SM founder Lee Soo-man.

Their album was also hinted at during SM Entertainment’s recent revenue report detailing future albums and world tours for their artists.

This isn’t the first time Aespa has debuted unreleased songs live. They performed their English single “Girls” during their historic Coachella mainstage performance in 2022.

Coinciding with Aespa’s concert was the finale release of their SM Culture Universe storyline where they fought against their in-lore nemesis, Black Mamba.

We hope you consider making a contribution so we can continue to provide you with quality content that informs, educates and inspires the Asian community. Even a $1 contribution goes a long way.  Thank you for everyone’s support. We love you all and can’t appreciate you guys enough.
