Lee Seung Gi is coming to Southern California. Fans can meet him as a singer at his live concert on Saturday, August 26 (6pm) exclusively at Pechanga Summit, Pechanga Resort Casino’s newly built massive concert space.
The original “Mr. Perfect,” who can sing, act, host, produce and more is returning as a singer for the first time in years after his successful career as an all-round entertainer.
Debuting in 2004 at the age of 17, Lee instantly became a star as his debut song “Because You Are My Woman” written by PSY topped charts and created a “liking older women” or “younger boyfriend” syndrome in South Korea. The song is still popular among guys as a love song for an older girlfriend even after two decades.
A little after his grand debut, Lee joined the most popular variety show at the time, “1 Night 2 Days”, as their youngest member. Known and beloved by his nickname heodang, his appearance on the show shot him to fame in Korea and made him a household name. He expanded his career into acting and starred in so many movies and top TV shows such as “My Girlfriend Is a Nine-Tailed Fox,” “The King 2 Hearts,” “Gu Family Book,” “Vagabond” and “Brilliant Legacy.” He’s been also busy and successful as an entertainer hosting variety shows like “Strong Hearts,” “New Journey to the West,” “Sing Again” and “Master in the House.”
