Netflix has released new character posters and a teaser trailer for Part 2 of “The Glory.”
The series, written by Kim Eun-sook and directed by Lee Eung-bok, follows the story of Moon Dong-eun, a former victim of egregious school violence who dedicates her life to enacting revenge against her childhood bullies. Song Hye-kyo stars as Dong-eun opposite Lee Do-hyun as the male lead, Joo Yeo-jeong.
The eight character posters depict Dong-eun and the people ensnared in her plot for vengeance, either as an ally or enemy.
Characters like Yeo-jeong, Kang Hyeon-nam, played by Yeom Hye-ran, and Ha Do-yeong, played by Jung Sung-il, are embraced gently by Dong-eun. As for the bullies, Dong-eun holds them forcefully and with a malicious gaze.
The teaser trailer shows the primary perpetrator of Dong-eun’s misery having no remorse for her actions. Yeon-jin tells her, “I’ve done nothing wrong, Dong-eun.” This enrages Dong-eun, who replies, “Welcome, Yeon-jin. I’ll show you the hell I’m living in.”
The show has quickly risen to prominence since its December 2021 release, reaching Netflix’s Global Top 10 TV (Non-English) list for five consecutive weeks.
Part 2 of “The Glory” will be available for streaming on Netflix on Mar. 10
